                                        Award Overview

The Global Strategy Journal Best Paper Prize is presented annually to honor substantial work that is published in the Global Strategy Journal. Papers are considered eligible after five or more years from the date they are published. This delay allows for the impact of the paper to be assessed in terms of citations and influence of the paper on teaching, research and/or practice. Once a paper becomes eligible for this prize, it remains eligible until it is selected for the award.  Authors of the winning paper receive a monetary award of USD 5,000 along with a plaque at the SMS Annual Conference.
